For people who are ready for semi-independent living we offer a range of supported living properties from large shared houses through to individual flats and studios within the St Thomas area of Exeter. Person-centred support is provided on an individual basis and tailored to meet their needs and personal goals. People will need to have a minimum of 6 hours a week to be eligible for a placement; this is to allow us to work with them to increase their independence. Once a person needs 4 hrs or less support per week then we will actively support them to move on into their independent accommodation. There is no limit on the amount of support a person can receive. The number of hours will be based on the social care assessment of their needs and their agreed personal budget.
We are able to provide floating support to people living in their own homes. This is focused around a reablement approach aimed to increase the person’s independence, choice and control in their lives. We can provide support during the day, in the evening and at weekends.
